Heavy excavation for big jobs, anywhere in BC

Pacific Coast Excavating is a Langley-based excavation contractor. Since 2000 we’ve dug high-rise foundations, built civil works, cleaned up after a wildfire and barged our machines up the coast.

From Langley to Rivers Inlet

PCE is based in Langley, and the closer the job the better. But big projects don’t always come with a road: our crews go up the coast by barge, into the Interior and north for weeks at a time.

No road in. No problem.

For a bridge installation at Rivers Inlet on the central coast, PCE moved excavators, a site office and crew RVs in by tug and barge for Matcon, and built from the landing.

What clients say

This company has got to be one of the best companies I’ve ever had the pleasure working with and for. They have probably the best operators in the industry and have been mentored and managed by one of the most experienced and talented man that I’ve ever met in the construction world. It’s always a pleasure to work around and be around Norm Svennson and his team.

David Locke

PCE excavated my warehouse floor in preparation for a new slab. They also recompacted and leveled the floor, and disposed of all the concrete and steel in an efficient, timely manor. We had a tight deadline, as we needed to get the shop back up and running as soon as possible. PCE used proper safety measures and communicated well with my team. I would highly recommend them.
